A Bear-y Good Time

It's a terrible title but I just had to use it, you'll see why.

Our Summer Vacation
We returned to Bear World for our summer trip this year.  The last time we visited this family fave was in conjuction with our Yellowstone excursion - Emma was 5, Aaron was 3, Bekah was 18 mo. and Mo was watching from above waiting to join in all the fun.  Now that she's here, it was time to take 'em back.  Bekah didn't remember anything, (not that I expected her to), but Emma and Aaron remembered their first trip and it's such a fun place to visit this will definitely not be our last.
When Mo's old enough to remember we'll come back again!

Pictures from the curator tour
(you ride on a tall truck and feed the bears),
the awesome petting zoo, the drive thru animal enclosure, and of course...the rides:

(Whenever my sister and I take a trip we always have a
catch phrase that dominates the trip,
it's usually a line from a movie we both like.)

The catch phrase for this trip was provided by Mo.  On many occasion you could hear her say or yell
(depending on her mood),
"I WANT TO GO HOME!"  Here's a visual:

How can the same baby look this sweet and innocent?  Precious isn't she?  It's truly her saving grace.
Because she likes to scream...a lot.

We found this fun photo opp on the way to Bear World.
Who knew Idaho had giant pop cans just sitting out
there among all the potatoes!

The pictures are out of order because we actually started our trip with our annual visit to BEAR Lake with Mike's family.

She may have wanted to go home, but I caught a smile here and there.  I think all in all she had a pretty good time...
a bear-y good time.

1st Grade Program

Aaron's 1st grade program was lessons & morals learned from Disney songs.  They put on a great presentation.
But the best part was the "Ducks Dance Too" song!
It was hilarious!  Good job Aaron.
